Luis Suarez bags FOUR as Barcelona run riot at Deportivo

Luis Suarez scored four goals and created three more as Barcelona crushed a compliant Deportivo La Coruna 8-0 on Wednesday. Ivan Rakitic, Lionel Messi, Marc Bartra and Neymar scored the other goals as Luis Enrique's side got back to winning ways, showing their intent to keep hold of top spot.

After picking up just one point from their last four games in La Liga, Barca had seen their nine point lead cut to none -- their superior head-to-head record against Atletico Madrid keeping them narrowly in front. Real Madrid, meanwhile, had manoeuvred to within one point.



This victory, therefore, was as important as any this season and the eight goals will breathe confidence back into a Barcelona side which after a 39-game unbeaten run had appeared to forget how to win games.
